This site has been designed to provide family members a clearinghouse for information (photos, histories, etc.) which has been gathered. The purpose is to reduce the amount of time and effort which has been spent in duplicating research. This site is not intended to be the know-all, be-all of family research. We are interested in any, and all information that may be harvested from a variety of sources. However, one of the principles that we hope makes this site different is the emphasis placed on documentation. We therefore ask that all submissions to this site be accompanied by some level of documentation. For example if the information comes from a personal interview or from personal memory, it should be stated as such. Where information is obtained from journals, diaries, or public record it should be indicated when submitted.
